Although Kevin Verpaele was technically born in Elmhurst, Illinois, he quite rightfully considers Florida to be his home. He grew up in Merritt Island, Florida and graduated from Merritt Island High School back in 1999. He then went to the University of South Florida a football scholarship, where he was a starting safety and he was named captain in his senior year. What is more impressive is that he accomplished everything while also raising a child with his beautiful wife. In fact, his sense of family was clear when he made a deal with the coach to interrupt football practice to pick up his daughter from day care. He would wear his full uniform and return to practice immediately after. There are so many ways in which Kevin Verpaele’s family-oriented approach to life and business has paid dividends, it is clear in every aspect of his life. For example, his oldest daughter, for whom he used to break up football practice to pick her up from day care is now a sophomore who is ensconced on the Dean’s List at the University of Alabama. Likewise, another daughter plays soccer as a freshman at Cocoa Beach High School, as well as club soccer for Orlando City. Kevin Verpaele has five children, and every child who is old enough has been quite successful so far. Kevin has no doubt the younger ones will also be successful in life. These days, Kevin runs Critter Ridders Pest Control in Brevard County, a business he took over relatively recently. Critter Ridders offers a wide range of pest prevention and remediation services to residential and commercial properties throughout the county, all at affordable prices.
